Lava salt from Saltverk is treated with activated charcoal, giving this bar its dramatic color and setting the stage for burnt, popped barley in nearly savory white chocolate for adventurous tasters. This chocolate is unlike any other!

The savory notes in this chocolate are a result of the bar’s inspiration–well roasted malted barley, usually used in brewing porters and stouts. The stark black chocolate is then topped with popped Icelandic barley, coated in chocolate.
