Cacao is the richest source of antioxidants in the plant kingdom. Once a highly revered food of Incan royalty this is now available to you – wherever you reside. Cacao is the ‘raw’ form of chocolate, still extremely rich in nutritious minerals, vitamins, and polyphenols. Whilel ‘chocolate’ still retains some scant benefits it is usually combined with harmful substances that render the health benefits all but useless.
This is a VERY bitter food and is usually blended with cacao or coconut butter and a sweetener.
